Darryl Anderson was a newcomer in this year's event
A rider in this year's Manx Grand Prix has been excluded from the event following a positive drugs test.
Darryl Anderson, a competitor in the Senior and Classic Senior MGP classes, tested positive for the use of recreational substances during a random drugs test.
He was a newcomer to the event from Garvagh, Northern Ireland.
Race Organisers, ACU Events Ltd, have passed the matter on to the Motor Cycle Union of Ireland to carry out their formal judicial process.
It adds, the Manx Grand Prix Races and the ACU share a 'strict zero-tolerance policy for the presence of drugs and alcohol for officials and competitors during an event period'.
