2026 Manx Grand Prix & Classic TT schedule unveiled

Twelve days of racing action due to take place next month

The schedule for this year's Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT has been unveiled.

Both events will run alongside each other across 12 days from Sunday, 16 August to Friday, 28 August.

The first six days from Sunday, 16 August to Friday, 21 August will be dedicated to qualifying sessions for both meetings.

After that, the first race day is scheduled for Saturday, 22 August with the three-lap Sportbike MGP Race and four-lap Supersport MGP Race - that day will also feature two further Classic TT practice sessions.

A planned rest day on Sunday, 23 August will be followed by a triple-header of racing on Monday, 24 August which includes the Junior MGP Race over three laps; the Senior MGP Race over four laps and the opening Classic TT showdown - the Historic Junior Classic TT - across three laps.

The next action will then be held on Wednesday, 26 August with the Formula One Classic TT Race; the combined Lightweight Classic TT & Ultra Ligtweight Classic TT and also the Junior 600 race.

The Ultra Lightweight and Junior 600 races will be new additions to this year's programme.

Also taking place on Wednesday, 26 August will be a one-lap TT Rewind/Classic Sidecar Parade.

The final action of the near two-week action on the Snaefell Mountain Course is due to conclude on Friday, 28 August with the Historic Senior Classic TT and Senior Classic TT Races over three and four laps respectively.

That last day is also due to feature a special parade celebrating 26-time TT winner John McGuinness MBE who this year is celebrating 30 years of racing on the mountain course.

Elsewhere, there are contingency sessions available to organisers if necessary during qualifying week on Wednesday, 19 August; Thursday, 20 August and Friday, 21 August.

Contingencies during race week are available on Sunday, 23 August; Tuesday, 25 August and Thursday, 27 August.

All timings remain subject to road closure approval by the Department of Infrastructure and also remain subject to change depending on prevailing conditions and circumstances.
