Rider had been due to take on all solo classes next week
Jamie Coward has announced he won't be involved in next week's Southern 100 Road Races.
The rider from Hebden Bridge - who's been a frequent competitor at the meeting in recent years - announced the news in an update on social media today (1 July).
He had been due to contest the 1000cc, Supersport and Lightweight races and was listed as riding machinery provided by the Milenco by Padgett's Motorcycles team.
Looking forward, Coward says whilst this situation is 'disappointing', he now has his focus on other areas in the short term:
Separately, Coward was involved with the Rapid Honda with DriveLife team at this year's Isle of Man TT Races, and says that partnership was for both the TT and the opening two BSB rounds.
The 2026 Southern 100 Road Races are scheduled to take place on the Billown Course next week from Monday, 6 July to Thursday, 9 July.
