Jamie Cringle transferred back to UK for further treatment

Rider confirms back infection after initially being discharged from Noble's

Isle of Man motorcycle racer, Jamie Cringle has been transferred back to the UK for further treatment following a crash at this year's Isle of Man TT Races.

In an update, the rider says he was initially discharged from Noble's Hospital last Friday (26 June).

However, Cringle adds this lasted 'just over 24 hours as we realised my back had got infected and had a hole in it.'

He then returned to Noble's before confirming he has since been transferred to Walton in Merseyside on Monday this week (29 June).

The Island competitor has been recovering from multiple injuries sustained in an incident at Union Mills during the Supersport TT Race 2 on Friday, 5 June.

Furthermore, posting on social media, Cringle says it's not yet clear how long he will remain off-Island but is thanking those who've donated towards helping with his rehabilitation.
