
Air passenger figures rose by over 13.5% last month, on top of a near 10% increase the month before, according to the Department of Infrastructure's latest figures.
There's now been a six-month period of continuous growth.
The north west of England and London routes each saw 5,000 more passengers using them, compared to August last year.
The Dublin route is also up, by around 16.5%, and there was a huge increase in charter flight passengers from the Island, to the Mediterranean in particular.
