Witnesses sought following assault after Royal Show

Police investigating incident on Patrick Road

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault on Patrick Road earlier this month.

The incident took place on Saturday 8 August following the Royal Manx Agricultural Show, and resulted in a man needing hospital treatment.

Officers say enquiries have established that those involved had attended a post-show gathering at Knockaloe Beg Farm, where it's believed tensions may have arisen.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who attended the gathering or witnessed the incident.

They particularly want to speak to anyone who assisted in taking two people home following the assault.
