Vagabonds’ poor run of form continued with a 32-14 away defeat at league leaders Wilmslow in EuroManx South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.
Just 10 minutes before half time Vagas trailed 11-0 and were still in the game but a poor conclusion to the first half saw them leak 16 points in the closing stages to trail 27-0 after 40 minutes.
A second half fightback was staged with tries from Jonny Beckley and Sam Egan, both converted by Beckley.
However, it wasn’t enough to regain the initiative after a poor showing in the opening period.
