TT 2025: Michael Rutter transferred to Walton Centre 

Rider reported as 'stable, conscious and talking' after Supertwin race incident

Seven-time TT winner Michael Rutter has been transferred to the Walton Centre in Liverpool following a crash in yesterday's Supertwin TT Race 2 (6 June).

The rider was involved in an incident at Duke's on the third lap of the race.

Race organisers state Rutter is reported as being 'stable, conscious and talking' and continues to receive treatment for spinal injuries.

Separately, competitor Jonathan Goetschy has been transferred to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool following a crash on the opening lap of Friday's Superstock TT Race 2.

Goetschy's condition is reported as 'serious' and he continues to receive treatment for head, chest and spinal injuries.

Elsewhere, Maurizio Bottalico - who was injured on the third lap of the Superstock TT Race 2 - is reported as 'stable, conscious and talking' and continues to receive treatment for shoulder injuries.
