Ten-man Marown maintain momentum

Marown are nine points clear at the top of JCK Division Two.

Second half goals from Nigel Shimmin, Ryan Holdaway, Richard Mulhearn and Niall Quayle sealed a 4-0 home success over Malew, despite the dismissal of goalkeeper Mark Blair.

With second placed Union Mills’ match postponed, third placed Onchan moved level on points.

Second half goals from McIntosh and Krasi Stoyanov fired them to a 2-1 win against Braddan, for whom youngster Johnny Padi was on target.

Michael’s return to form continued as they won 2-1 at Colby, thanks to a goal in each half from Andy Williamson and Kevin Pulman.

Ricky Kniveton was Colby’s marksman in a match marred by a broken arm sustained by Michael’s Tom Corlett.

Douglas and District gave Foxdale a fright before the westerners emerged 4-3 winners.

Bottom club Ronaldsway sealed only their second victory of the season with a 4-2 home victory over Pulrose.
