Syd Quirk Half Marathon in south

The Syd Quirk Half Marathon run and walk takes place in the south of the Island this morning.

The start and finish is near to the Sefton Express Hotel in the Ronaldsway Industrial Estate.

There are three start times - 8.30am for the walk, 8.45am for runners expecting to take over 2 hours and 15 minutes and 9.30am for the main field of runners.

Motorists are asked to take care along the route which features Ballasalla, Cross Four Ways, the Southern 100 course in reverse to Castletown corner and the main road past Janets Corner and King Williams College.

Competitors will do two laps of the course.
