First rounds of ABT and Skeet leagues held at Meary Veg

The first round of the Sadler Agricultural Supplies ABT league was held at Meary Veg Santon with 12 shooters taking part In near ideal conditions.
The leader after the first round was Stan Skinner on 22 with Michael Cross second on 21 and Phil Ward and Rob Watterson in equal-third place on 19.
After the second round, Stan Skinner was the clear winner on 46 with Michael Cross and Rob Watterson in equal-second place on 38.
It was also a selection shoot for next year's Island games and Alan Wade was first on 91 with Stan Skinner second on 90 and Jake Keeling third on 81.
The first round of the Manx Petroleum's Olympic skeet league was also held and the clear winner was Jeff Corkill who also picked up the Parkinson High Gun Cup, in second place on 34 was Dave Corlett with Giulio Fabrizio third on 32.
Next week is the fourth round of the Colin Bowen Memorial English skeet league which is also a selection shoot for the Island Games next year.
