Six-time snooker world champion Steve Davis will be the next guest speaker for the Isle of Man Sporting Club next year.
The man who brought snooker into the mainstream will address guests on Thursday, February 11.
Davis, a recipient of an MBE, OBE and a former winner of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, has won more professional titles in the sport than any other player.
His most successful spell came during the 1980s when he was the snooker world number one for seven years and reached eight world finals; became the sport's first millionaire and made sporting history in compiling the first televised 147 maximum break.
Davis is now an established television analyst and occasional commentator for BBC's snooker coverage.
