Organisers make decision following Fairy Bridge RTC
Tonight's first stage of the 2022 Manx Rally has been cancelled.
Organisers of the event have made the decision to scrap the stage this evening (13 May) due to a collision in the area of the Fairy Bridge earlier today.
The rally stage heading towards Keristal involves a section of the Old Castletown Road, which is currently being used to divert regular traffic around the scene of the collision.
As a result, the rally will now start on what was previously stage two known as 'The Back of the Moon' on the Mount Murray Back Road after a rescheduled ceremonial start to the event on North Quay in Douglas at 6.45pm.
