A good friend lost
Southern 100 Racing says they are "devastated" following the news of Dan Kneen's death.
In a statement this morning (Thurs), the organisers say Dan had a long association with the Southern 100,enjoying his most successful year last year.
Club Chairman, George Peach says ‘Dan was such a likeable person, always had time to chat to everyone and always smiling even if everything wasn’t going to plan.
‘Dan was a great ambassador for the sport of road racing and the Isle of Man and his untimely passing will be felt for a long time – we all feel that we have lost a good friend.’
George continued, ‘On behalf of Southern 100 Racing may I extend our heartfelt sympathies to his partner Leanne, family and his close friends at this very sad time.
