Misty conditions made it difficult for competitors to see the targets

The opening round of the Tower Insurance DTL league took place this weekend in misty conditions at Meary Veg.

Visibility made it difficult for the 17 shooters, with Peter Lowe prevailing in the A class with 46/136.

George Davies took the honours in the B Class, with Brian Kelly securing victory in the C Class.

This weekend also saw the first round of the Sadler Agricultural Supplies ABT league, with Steven Craine finishing top, while Giulio Fabrizio was the winner in the first round of the Manx Petroleum Olympic Skeet league.
