Save the Date for Paint the Plantation Pink

Island's only all women's mountain bike event set for May

South Barrule Plantation is getting painted pink next year. Not literally.

A save the date has been released for the Island's one and only women's mountain bike event.

Paint the Plantation Pink is set for 15 May 2021.

The annual competition invites women of all ages and abilities to cycle as many laps as they can in 8 hours, either as a sole rider or in teams.

The main aim of the event is to raise as much money as possible for women's cancer charities, and encourage those who wouldn't normally enter this type of event to get involved.

As much pink as possible is also preferable.

Entries open at the end of this month. (Nov)
