
Manx cycling star Mark Cavendish has admitted the current dispute between Tour de France organisers and the sports world governing body could seriously disrupt his season.
The row has already forced Cavendish to pull out of the Paris-Nice stage race, the traditional European season opener, after the International Cycling Union threatened bans of up to six months for competitors taking part.
Cav says if the situation remains unresolved, he may be forced to choose between Le Tour and the Beijing Olympics:-
