Today's Sure Mobile Premier League clash between Corinthians and Laxey may not have star billing in the list of weekend fixtures, but it's set to be an historic match in the history of Manx football.
For the first time, the officials will be wired up and able to communicate with each other.
The £800 kit has been purchased by Specsavers, which sponsors the Isle of Man Referees' Society, and will also be used to help coach and train new recruits.
