The paddock at the back of the grandstand is starting to fill up with competitors, with just two days to go to the start of the Manx Grand Prix Festival.
Entries are up and new sponsors have been attracted, with the Steam Packet supporting the Newcomers race and Manx Radio backing the Lightweight event.
Yamaha is continuing its official bike partner status from the TT and will provide nine motorcycles for the travelling marshals.
The decision to change the title of the event to Manx Grand Prix Festival, to include all the various trials, parades and concerts, is paying off, according to TT and motorsport development manager Paul Phillips:
