Manx Missile to defend title
Reigning champion Mark Cavendish will lead a star-studded peleton when the Dubai Tour gets underway a week today (February 3).
The ‘Manx Missile’ is among a number of big names including Sir Bradley Wiggins, Philippe Gilbert, Fabian Cancellara, Tony Martin, Elia Viviani and Marcel Kittel.
The four-day event in the UAE runs until February 6.
Cavendish won the Dubai Tour last year following a dominant sprint finish on the final day.
