Two former Blue and Red captains will be speaking at a dinner in Douglas this evening.
Howard Kendall and Ron Yeats will entertain a sell-out audience at the Hilton Hotel and help raise money for the new playing pitches at Ballafletcher.
Kendall was Manager at Everton when they won the League title in 1985 and 1987. Yeats was the skipper of the first great Liverpool side in the 1960's under legendary Manager Bill Shankly.
The new facility at Ballafletcher should open next season and will become home for Football sides Corinthians and Douglas Royal, and Vagabonds Rugby Club.
