The Isle of Man launched its bid to win the English FA Inter-League Cup with a fine 3-1 success at Lancashire Amateur League on Saturday.
Goals from Frank Jones, Ciaran McNulty and Nick Hurt sealed the victory as Kevin Manning’s side began their attempt to recapture the crown they won (formerly NLS Cup) in 2006.
The Island will play away to the Cheshire League in the next round in the autumn.
