Four Manx junior squads contested EH competitions on Sunday (29 October)
The Isle of Man Under-16 Boys hockey squad took a commanding win in their opening England Hockey (EH) Championships during the weekend.
The Manx side secured a 5-0 victory over Oxton thanks to two goals from Robbie Valerga with Josh Kaighin, Alfie Melling and Nicholas Wilson also on the scoresheet.
There was also success for the U18 Boys side who were 4-1 winners over Neston thanks to goals from Alex Andrew, Alfie Swales and two from Harry Callin.
Also in action on Sunday (28 October) were the Isle of Man U14 Boys and U14 Girls sides in their respective EH competitions.
The U14 boys were on the end of a narrow 5-3 loss to Didsbury with George Leece bagging two goals and a further strike coming from Cal Joyce.
Elsewhere, the U14 Girls were also on the wrong side of a closely-contested game with a 2-0 defeat to Chester.
