U16 side defeated at Neston in latest fixtures off-Island
The Isle of Man Under-18 boys national hockey team has progressed to the next stage of competition in this year's England Hockey (EH) Championships.
The squad along with the Isle of Man Under-16 boys were back in action on Sunday (28 January) in their respective competitions with both facing separate opposition on the Wirral.
The Under-18 side - contesting the second round of the EH Tier 2 KO competition - secured a commanding 5-2 win away at Oxton.
Helping secure success was a double from Luca Parlato and strikes from Alfie Swales, Alex Andrew and Archie Cox.
Elsewhere, the Under-16 squad went down to 6-0 defeat at the hands of Neston in the EH Tier 2 KO competition for that age category - Ross Grimley was named the Manx side's player of the match.
