Hockey: Early Mixed Division One title contenders to meet

Bacchas A out to maintain perfect Mixed Premier Legue start

The two early frontrunners in Mixed Division One face off as part of week three of the 2026 Isle of Man mixed hockey season this weekend.

Saturday's match-ups across the divisions will include a meeting of Vikings B and Ramsey A, first and second respectively in Mixed Division One, both on perfect starts and only separated by goal difference.

Elsewhere, defending Mixed Premier League champions, Bacchas A are the only side in the top-flight to have a 100 per cent record with two wins from two ahead of a showdown with Castletown Southerners.

Bacchas' nearest challengers, Vikings A and Valkyrs A sit one and two points off the top respectively and both face each other this weekend in a key battle to stay in touch at the summit.

Meanwhile, in Mixed Division Two, leaders, Bacchas Mixed Colts will be hoping to keep up their flying opening to the campaign when they take on Ramsey Ravens whilst in Mixed Division Three, Harlequins C and Ramsey Robins head into Saturday with two wins from the first two each.
