Peel athlete Keith Gerrard has been forced to pull out of this weekend's Edinburgh International Cross-Country meeting.
The English Cross-Country Champion has a slight muscle tear and has decided to miss the event as a precaution before he defends his title next month at Wollaton Hill in Nottingham.
Before Christmas, Gerrard won a team bronze medal with Great Britain at the European Cross-Country Championships in Belgrade - he finished 20th in the individual standings.
