Manxman joins from impressive spell at Lincoln
An English Premier League side have announced the signing of a former Island goalkeeper.
Isaac Allan, formally of St Johns United has joined Sunderland AFC's under-21 squad for the new season.
The 18-year-old joins from Lincoln where he made himself the first-choice goalkeeper for their under-18 side.
He was also a key part of the squad that lifted the under-17 Floodlit cup, and was also named on the bench for the League One fixture against Bristol Rovers.
Sunderland Academy Manager Robin Nicholls said: “We are delighted that Isaac has joined the Club.
"He has a good build for a goalkeeper and has already shown some of the key attributes we look for in that position."
