Ascot Hotel Junior Cup Final
Peel 4-1 St Mary’s
BCS Vinyl Hospital Cup semi-final
Ramsey 2-3 St George’s
Skipper Gary Smith started and rounded off the scoring as Peel lifted the Ascot Hotel Junior Cup on Sunday.
Smith’s brace helped his side to a 4-1 victory over St Mary’s at the Bowl.
Callum Gallagher and Louise Palmer grabbed the other for the westerners with Stuart Pacey notching the Saints consolation.
St George’s are one game away from Manx football’s Grand Slam after surviving a scare in the BCS Vinyl Hospital Cup semi-final.
Kris Halsall gave Ramsey the lead at Ballacloan before the Geordies took control, courtesy of goals from Johnny Myers, Ciaran McNulty and Frank Jones.
Regular marksman Jamie Moffitt pulled one back for the home side but it wasn’t enough and St George’s will face the winners of Tuesday’s Peel-St John’s semi-final in Sunday’s end of season showpiece.
