Premier League and Division 2 in the spotlight tonight (1 Sept)

The first midweek fixtures of the 2026/27 Isle of Man football fixtures get underway this evening (1 September).

After the opening clashes of the new campaign last weekend, all four senior men's divisions return to action across today and tomorrow (1-2 September).

Tonight., the focus will be on the Canada Life Men's Premier League and Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 with all of this evening's clashes to kick-off this evening at 6.15pm.

Among the top-flight meetings, Peel - who got their title defence off to a winning start last Saturday - face a potentially tricky test up against St Mary's.

Elsewhere, last season's Division 2 champions, Colby, get their premier league journey underway later when they travel to Union Mills.

Meanwhile, included in tonight's Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 encounters, southern sides Malew and Castletown - who both took opening day wins last Saturday - are both back in action away from home at Douglas High School Old Boys (DHSOB.) and Ayre United respectively.

Also among the victors last weekend were St George's - they're also on the road at Michael United.
