Equestrian: Ingham named as GB reserve for world championships

Manx rider became world champion herself in 2022

Isle of Man equestrian competitor, Yasmin Ingham has been named as a reserve for the Great Britain squad heading to this month's FEI World Championships.

The 29-year-old - who's based in Cheshire - is one of four reserve competitors named ahead of the event in Aachen, Germany which will run from 11-23 August.

Making up the main GB lineup will be Rosalind Canter, Laura Collett, Tom McEwen and Gemma Stevens.

Joining the Island rider on the reserve list are David Doel, Tom Jackson and Harry Meade.

Ingham herself is a former world champion having won the prestigious meeting on horse, Banzai du Loir back in 2022.

Should she be called upon, Ingham would be paired with horse, Gypsy du Loir for 2026.
