Manx rider excels during British rounds five and six on Island
Manx rider, Jed Etchells stormed to a double victory on home soil during the latest rounds of the British Enduro Championship on Island last weekend.
In what was rounds five and six of the 2026 season, the Island competitor won both phases in the Elite class to take overall top spot.
Elsewhere, another local man, Jamie McCanney, also impressed in the Elite category as finished second and third across rounds five and six respectively.
Speaking to Manx Radio's Simon Clarke, Etchells said it was a good weekend and that it was nice to return home:
Among the other standout results from a big turnout of Manx riders taking part, Daniel McCanney and Jack Keenan finished inside the top six of the Elite Class during the two rounds.
Meanwhile, Alistair Heginbotham took back-to-back victories in the Clubman Over-50's class whilst Will Keenan took two second-placed finishes in the Expert Vet Over-35's.
