Representative fixtures and weather causing problem
There are early worries about completing the first half of the Football season on time and Railway Cup qualification.
The top four in the Premier League at the halfway point go forward to the Railway Cup semi-finals with the final on Boxing Day.
Some of the top teams have not played for three weeks because of Island matches.
And the wet weather of recent weeks is adding a further problem to the mix.
Football Association Fixtures Secretary Tony Mepham says more postponements are due because representative sides will be in action again soon:-
