His brother, Tom finishes 15th in latest circuit series round
Manx cyclist Leon Mazzone has continued his current good form this week after securing a podium finish in the latest round of the 2023 National Circuit Series.
The Saint Piran rider finished second during round five of the series in the Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix on Tuesday (25 July) with his brother, Tom Mazzone, finishing 15th in the same race.
The race was won by Wheelbase CabTech Castelli rider, Tim Shoreman, with Team Spectra Cannondale competitor, Daniel Barnes taking the final podium spot in third.
Tuesday evening's result leaves Leon sixth in the men's individual standings for the series on 156 - in the team classifications, Saint Piran sit third on 397.
The next round of the event will be the Newark Town Centre Races tomorrow (28 July).
