Classic TT: Joe Yeardsley heads new Junior 600 class

It's one of two new races coming in for 2026

Manxman, Joe Yeardsley will be first on the road in the new Junior 600 class at this month's Classic TT.

The race is one of two new additions to the programme for the meeting which will run from Monday, 17 August to Friday, 28 August.

The top-20 seeded riders for the Junior 600 have now been confirmed, with Yeardsley at No.1 followed by Brian McCormack (No.2) and Barry Furber (No.3) in the first three.

Another Island rider, Marcus Simpson is due away at No.4 ahead of Rob Hodson at No.5 and Michael Dunlop at No.6.

Meanwhile, there's further Manx representation elsewhere in the top-20 from David Rigby (No.14) and Paul Cassidy (No.16).

The three-lap Junior 600 race is currently scheduled for 3pm on Wednesday, 26 August.

More generally, the Classic TT will run alongside the Manx Grand Prix over a near two-week period from Sunday, 16 August to Friday, 28 August.
