Manxman wins on points in close encounter
Manx pro boxer Mathew Rennie has maintained his unbeaten pro record after a points victory over James Moorcroft in Bolton this evening (1 December).
In a close-fought encounter, 'Magic' Rennie and his opponent took the contest the full eight rounds with the Island-born fighter winning the contest on points 77-75.
It takes Rennie's tally in the professional ranks to eleven wins, one draw and no defeats.
It's his third victory of 2023 and follows a points win over Efstathios Antonas in March and a first round TKO of Jake Osgood last month.
