Boxing: Jade Burden's first fight of 2025 cancelled

The Grenade was due to compete in Liverpool

Isle of Man boxer Jade Burden has had her first fight of 2025 called off. 

'The Grenade' was due to be back in the ring later this month (27 April) at Grand Central Hall in Liverpool. 

No reason has yet been given as to why the bout was cancelled. 

In a post on social media, Jade said: "Obviously really gutted. When you’ve got a fight date, everything else gets pushed aside."

She added: "I’m not giving up. 

"I’m going to take a bit of time to chill, reset, and then look ahead to the next opportunity."
