Avoid black training gear

One of the key aspects to come out of last night's Manx Telecom Parish Walk special event was safety.

A panel of experts offered training, nutrition and other tips to competitors.

With spring bringing increasingly longer days, many will be looking to start their training ahead of the big day in mid-June.

And Race Director Ray Cox is urging people to be seen on the roads, particularly with black sports clothing so readily available:-
