Over 600,000 people in the United Kingdom could support the Isle of Man's position there, according to the latest findings from the Manx People Power survey.
The study shows a significant number of Isle of Man residents have contacts in the UK who might be encouraged to raise concerns about the country's relationship with the Island.
The man behind the survey, marketing expert Professor Hugh Davidson (pictured), says the research shows a demand for higher levels of political involvement between the Island and the UK:
