Academic year to come to a close two days earlier
The education minister says the change in end-date for the 2024 and 2025 school summer term isn't new information.
That's despite some teachers stating they found out about the altered schedule through the media, rather than the department directly.
It's to allow for teacher training and means the 2024 summer term will finish on Friday 19 July instead of Tuesday 23 July.
