
Motorists and pedestrians were being advised to avoid the junction of Ballahane Close and Erin Way in Port Erin.
A water main burst and there was a large amount of water on the highway.
Emergency services said it could present a hazard in the current freezing conditions.
The advice was to be extremely careful, and only travel through the area if it was absolutely necessary.
