New senior manager says discussions with producers going well as IOM Meats works to 'restore trust'
A new general manager at Isle of Man Meats says early talks between the company and producers have been positive.
The meat plant announced a new senior leadership team this week - something it's hoped will help 'restore trust' following issues last year.

Michael Barker has been in the role for ten weeks, having move to the Island from Dubai.
He's previously spent decades in retail, wholesale, and food service sectors, and has a background as a fully trained butcher.
He told Manx Radio how he's found the role so far, and what his hopes are for the future:
