Group meets to discuss discontinued Route 28 service
A group of residents from the south of the Island are calling for the Route 28 bus service to be restored as soon as possible.
Yesterday (28 April) the 'Save Our Cregneash Bus' group held a coffee morning in Port Erin to discuss the discontinued route which served Cregneash and The Sound.
Up to 70 people attended the meeting.

In the absence of the service, group members say they've helped transport visitors around the area but that this shouldn't be their responsibility.
Chanelle Sukhoo has this report:
Speaking on Manx Radio last week, the infrastructure minister revealed it was her intention to reinstate the service to Cregneash and the Sound.
The service was removed last year because it wasn't 'financially viable'.
Michelle Haywood confirmed she has members of her team looking at options:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
