Church head bewildered by cinema stance
Political correctness gone mad!
That’s how the head of the Roman Catholic Church in the Island has described the refusal of leading UK cinemas to show an advert featuring the Lord's Prayer.
It had been hoped the 60-second film would be screened UK-wide before Christmas ahead of the new Star Wars film.
But the company which sells adverts to cinemas won't show any religious advertising in case it causes offence to those of differing faiths or no faith at all.
