FWAG: 'Food security should be next administration's top priority'

Group urges next chief minister to take the matter seriously

Food security should be the top priority of this administration according to the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group.

It was one of the big talking points at last month's House of Keys General Election after it was revealed only six percent of food consumed on the Island is grown or made here.

Nominations for the next chief minister close at 12pm today (6 October).

Paul Fletcher is FWAG's chairman and believes whoever gets the job needs to take food security seriously:
