Younger residents disadvantaged, it argues
Residents of Foxdale and the surrounding areas have started a petition for later buses through the village.
Currently, the number four service covers the route from Douglas to Peel and back - but the last bus heading west leaves Foxdale at 6:09pm, and the final service eastwards leaves at 5:57.
There's a reduced timetable on Sundays from April to September.
Petitioners argue children are disadvantaged, missing out on after-school activities, and also that tourist accommodation is suffering as a result.
It's hoped the appeal will garner 500 signatures, and it's already around four fifths of the way there:
