Member of the ambulance service also receiving treatment at Noble's
A pedestrian has been airlifted to the UK following an incident involving an ambulance earlier today.
Manx Care has confirmed the female has gone off Island for treatment, while a member of the ambulance service has been admitted to Noble's Hospital.
Images shared with Manx Radio showed an ambulance and other vehicles sustained damage in the collision in the Ballakermeen area.
In a statement to Manx Radio, Manx Care added: "Manx Care are continuing to work with the Isle of Man Constabulary to investigate the circumstances of the incident. We would again ask the public and the media not to speculate."
Meanwhile, the Isle of Man Constabulary said: "We can confirm that an ambulance, other vehicles and a member of the public were involved and that this is the subject of a collision investigation by the Roads Policing Unit, which is the normal protocol followed for incidents involving emergency service vehicles. We would ask that the public do not speculate further."
