Problems 'not linked to the sewerage system'
Manx Utilities says this morning's flood in Castle Street in Douglas was not linked to problems with the sewerage system.
Hundreds of gallons of brown, pungent smelling water affected parts of the street at around 10.30am.
Manx Utilities teams found the problem to be blocked gullies.
We're told keeping the gullies clear is normally the responsibility of Douglas City Council.
Manx Radio has approached the council for comment.
