Autumn arrival for Lord Bishop
The Island's new bishop says he plans to reflect on his new role at length, before moving to the Island in the autumn.
Peter Eagles, a former Archdeacon in the Army, was consecrated as Bishop of Sodor and Mann at York Minster on Thursday (June 22).
He must complete a number of formalities, including speaking to the Queen at Buckingham Palace this summer, before starting his ministry in Mann.
