Company urging customers affected by lightning to report issues
Manx Telecom says it's hoping to restore connection to all people impacted by this week's lightning by next Wednesday (24 August).
Around 500 customers in Onchan and Douglas have been affected.
As of today (17 August) the company estimates there are around 350 properties still experiencing issues.
Chief Technology Officer Hugo van Zyl says people need to get in touch if they have broadband problems.
In the first instance call centre staff can talk people through potential fixes for issues - engineers will then be sent out if required.
