Morning Heysham sailing cancelled due to adverse weather

Evening sailing also in doubt as severe gales approach

This morning's Steam Packet sailing to Heysham, and afternoon return, has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

It's as a yellow weather warning for severe gales is in place from 4pm this afternoon.

Meanwhile, this evening's 7:45pm sailing to the Lancashire port is also subject to possible disruption or cancellation.

The Master of the Ben-my-Chree will make a final decision on that journey by 5:30pm.
